Directions from A55

Turn off at Junction 25 (Bodelwyddan). If travelling from the Chester direction, take the final exit on the first roundabout so you cross over the A55 carriageway: Immediately afterwards take the first exit from the next roundabout and enter the village of Bodelwyddan. If travelling from the Conwy direction, cross straight over the roundabout you immediately come to and enter the village of Bodelwyddan.

Take the second right (signposted 'Kinmel Bay') so you pass a row of shops on your left and a public house on the right.

Carry straight on and out of the village and on for about a mile to a small roundabout (this crosses the A547 Abergele to Prestatyn road). Continue straight ahead. About a mile further, on entering Kinmel Bay, you will see the North Wales Garden World (garden centre on the left). The Nuts End Guest House is just after the next roundabout on the right. You will see a white sign showing where we are.

Places of Interest

North Wales is 'blessed' with some stunning scenery - 'where the mountains meet the sea'. As seen from Kinmel Bay, the Snowdonia mountains 'peer' from behind the local hills to the west. The nearby Clwydian Hills, popular with walkers, head south and form the east side of the Clwyd Vale. The local beaches are mostly sandy and family-friendly - always be aware of the tide times though!

For those that like a piece of history - there are many old castles in the area - the closest is Rhuddlan Castle built in the thirteen century by King Edward I.

Other local recreational pursuits include golfing and fishing.
